We live in a continuously evolving risk landscape. Changes in technology, customer behavior, weather patterns, geopolitics and the economy all present challenges and opportunities for today’s business and community leaders. Joan Woodward, President of the Travelers Institute, hosted senior leaders from Travelers and experts from across sectors to examine two significant risks facing businesses and broader communities: threats to cybersecurity andchallenging insurance markets

Session 1: Risk. Regulation. Resilience. Responsibility.SM – Addressing the Availability and Affordability of P&C Insurance

Hurricanes, wildfires, tornadoes, hail. The frequency and impact of severe weather is on the rise. We were joined by Travelers Chief Underwriting Officer Rick Keegan and other experts for an eye-opening and data-driven look at how climate and weather changes, coupled with economic inflation, aging infrastructure and other trends, are impacting the affordability and availability of insurance in certain markets across the country. A must-attend for risk and insurance professionals, this conversation outlined actionable insights for how policymakers, insurance agents, brokers, carriers and consumers can work together to navigate a rapidly changing risk environment, build more resilient communities and ensure a well-functioning insurance market.
