Students at the University of Alabama’s Culverhouse College of Business and Shelby Institute for Policy & Leadership are invited for an interactive discussion with Travelers senior leaders on the state of the insurance industry. Drawing from their extensive experience, Travelers Chief Underwriting Officer Rick Keegan and Government Relations Senior Vice President Glenn Westrick will outline the fundamental principles of insurance and an array of career opportunities available for emerging leaders. They will also address one of today’s most pressing issues for insurance carriers, agents and brokers, and customers, the availability and affordability of P&C insurance. Students will learn about the rapidly changing risk environment and ways that we can all help build more resilient communities and promote well-functioning insurance markets.
