This educational symposium, open to business, nonprofit and public sector professionals, will explore economic and public policy trends, as well as insights into one of the biggest issues facing business today: threats to cybersecurity.
Session 1: Leading your organization in 2025: Understanding the U.S. economy and post-election outlook
What do fluctuating interest rates, complex labor force dynamics and evolving geopolitical risks mean for your business and your customers? What pressing challenges will Congress and the White House face in 2025? Drawing on her extensive experience as an economist on Capitol Hill and an analyst on Wall Street, Joan Woodward will share her economic, public policy and political outlook in this data-driven, analytical and nonpartisan presentation. Woodward, who currently serves as Executive Vice President for Public Policy at Travelers, will also explore how the 2024 U.S. elections may impact insurance, tax policy and the broader economy.
Session 2: Cyber: Prepare, Prevent, Mitigate, Restore®
Join government and industry leaders to get an in-depth look at the current cyber-threat landscape and strategies to help prepare for and respond to a cyber incident. Experts from the federal government’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and Mullen Coughlin, a law firm focused on data privacy and cyber incident response services, will join Travelers leadership to share key cybersecurity practices that can be implemented to increase cyber preparedness. This exclusive event is part of the Travelers Institute’s Cyber: Prepare, Prevent, Mitigate, Restore initiative, a national series of educational symposia helping businesses and organizations tackle evolving cyber threats.
