About the Travelers Institute
Committed to advancing education and public policy dialogue
Travelers established the Travelers Institute as a means of participating in the public policy dialogue on matters of interest to the property casualty insurance sector, as well as the financial services industry more broadly. The Travelers Institute draws upon the industry expertise of Travelersʼ senior management and the technical expertise of its risk professionals, and other experts to provide information, analysis, and recommendations to public policymakers and regulators.

We created the Travelers Institute to lead thoughtful and constructive conversations about today’s challenges and tomorrow’s needs. Travelers Institute celebrates 15 years of thought leadership
Since the Institute's founding in May 2009, our leaders have hosted or participated in more than 1,100 educational events or speaking engagements, directly reaching more than 435,000 attendees. In 2024, we are proud to mark 15 years of public policy dialogue advancing education and information on issues that impact our customers, agents, brokers, business partners and employees.
