Surety Bonding in the Age of Mega-Projects

Date: Wednesday, December 2, 2026

Time: 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. ET

Construction projects across North America are getting bigger, and the surety market is adjusting. Large-scale infrastructure, data centers, energy plants and other complex projects are reshaping the project pipeline and changing what it means to bond a job. Our speakers will explore how underwriters approach mega-project risk, what bonding requirements might look like, and what agents and brokers need to understand to effectively serve contractors pursuing large federal and commercial work. They’ll also look at what this shift means for contractors who aren’t chasing mega-projects, from capacity to competition for resources.
