Pete is Senior Vice President and the head of Management and Professional Liability for Travelers Bond & Specialty Insurance, a division of Travelers.
He began his career with Aetna, where he was a Field Representative for the Management Liability and Surety business. At Travelers, he was responsible for underwriting and production of Financial Institution, Commercial Entity, Public Company Management Liability business and managed the product management/development group. He was the head of Private & Nonprofit (PNP) until 2021, where he focused on disciplined underwriting, production growth and creating a culture of engagement, and he helped the PNP team reach an impressive milestone year of $1 billion in gross written premium. In 2021, he was promoted to his current role of head of Management and Professional Liability.
Pete is also a past president of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS) and was a trustee on their board, holding various other responsibilities with PLUS, including Treasurer, Vice President, President Elect and President, as well as serving on various other committees and task forces.
He is a graduate of Geneseo State in upstate New York where he majored in economics and computer science.
