Erika Fleig

Vice President, Claim Learning & Effectiveness, Travelers

Erika Fleig is the Vice President of Claim Learning & Effectiveness at Travelers, where she is responsible for the development and implementation of learning strategies at Claim University in Windsor, Connecticut.

Erika joined Travelers in 2013 as a Learning Designer at Claim University. From 2016 to 2021, she served in a leadership role in Risk Control, leading the evolution of the employee development and business insurance customer training functions.

She returned to Claim in 2021, where she has since led the Claim University team in ensuring that learning strategies are learner-centric, future-focused and aligned with Claim’s business and talent priorities.

Prior to joining Travelers, Erika spent more than two decades improving workplace learning, having served in many roles across a variety of industries and sectors, including insurance, higher education and consulting.

Erika and her husband currently live in Wethersfield, Connecticut. She is a proud mother of three adult sons and a graduate of the University of Notre Dame.
